Do YOU want to be a SUPER-Sophomore!?
Come to the Super-Sophomore Workshop on Thursday, October 29, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in Usdan 110 to stop slumping and start being super!
Many sophomores have an understandably difficult time transitioning into their second year of college. Peer Advisors have also gone through times where we lost focus on our work, weren’t sure if we were choosing the “right” majors, worried about our professional futures, had too much to juggle with academics, work, activities, and friends, or were just ready to get over that ambivalent hump of our sophomore lives.
HAVE NO FEAR! The workshop will be a panel discussion targeted to sophomores who want to maintain focus and understand the important and crucial decisions that come with being a sophomore. Come listen to, discuss, and receive advice on how to make the most out of your sophomore year: topics to be addressed include major declaration, study abroad, working with faculty, finding internships, and maintaining focus. Dean Phillips will also be there to provide any answers to questions that you may have. SARN Peer Advisors will lead discussion.
Come learn about what matters and about what kind of things you can do to get rid of your “kryptonite”!!
NOTE: This is a very limited event. In order to have a more intimate discussion, we will only be accomodating the first 14 sophomores to arrive. Please COME EARLY!! (Bring your dinners if you want!)
